Topics like: team dynamics, improving focus, mental/inner game work, performance anxiety, self-confidence, personal development (e.g., stress management, time management), athlete self-care, off the field/court challenges.

Sport-related therapy

Athletes face a unique struggle in balancing a variety of demands and life transitions, often accompanied by increased pressure and expectations. Attending to mental health and wellness needs is a critical component to a flourishing athlete at any level.

Issues explored in sessions include (but not limited to): changes in performance, motivation and/or energy levels; concerns with physical care - disrupted sleep, irregular eating behaviors, body changes, etc; reduced self-confidence in abilities as an athlete, student or other; problems in social or team relationships; changes in mood; managing and balancing demands; injury and recovery; transition out of sport and/or grief and loss.

Individual therapy sessions are available to student-athletes aged 16 and up, as well as former and current adult athletes.
